Summary:
Hansel & Gretel is the quintessential story of bravery versus witchcraft, the eternal struggle between good and evil. This dark fantasy tale is set in the universe of the classic fairytale by Brothers Grimm.
Once upon a time, there were two children called Hansel & Gretel. Their parents left them in the woods to die. Hungry and tired, the kids found refuge in a candy house. But the house belonged to a wicked witch, who ate all the children that would fall into her trap. However, the kids managed to push her into the oven, and thus escaped. This is the Brothers Grimm version of the story. But the true story of Hansel & Gretel is not a fairytale, it's a nightmare.
Goce Cvetanovski has lived in Paris, France since 1998 and is one of the emerging authors of the new wave of Macedonian film.
