Synopsis:

A landlady asks her tenant – a trumpeter who has an audition that day – to drop off her female friend and her little daughter in the city. The tenant is dismayed when he later finds out that the young woman has other plans for her daughter.
Later, during his audition, deeply moved by the events of the day, he pours his emotions into his melodies.
