Synopsis:
Balkan Roots is an exploration of the Barcelona Gipsy Klezmer Orchestra, a band made up of musicians and music from many corners of Europe. It’s a fusion of Balkan, Roma and other traditions in a dazzling musical odyssey as the band tours the Balkans and meets and performs with local music stars including the legendary Macedonian Roma musician Ferus Mustafov in Skopje, Macedonia.
Filmed & recorded on location in Serbia, Macedonia,Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Slovenia.
