Synopsis:

Behind the Door is a short film about a family of Roma (Gypsies) living in the Kratovo region of Macedonia. He shows the difficulties of day to day living for this family. The burden and silence of their suffering throughout history is demonstrated in this film along with their dignity and occasionally joy. The family has reason to hope. This film was presented at the Manaki Brothers film festival in Bitola in the fall of 2006.
