Synopsis:

George recounts his life, growing up in rural Macedonia, his joys and his sorrows. He endures Nazi occupation, the Greek Civil War, and, as a result, the death of family and friends. George describes how, in order to live as a free man, he had to escape... to Canada.
This is a short documentary by one of our emerging Canadian Macedonian directors.
