'Olga's Journey' produced by the Emmy Award Winning Producer Peter Rosen.

over a decade later he wrote and directed over 80 TV commercials and
music videos for numerous advertising agencies and video production
companies. He has also directed TV documentaries and TV shows in his

A mischievous teen ballerina mistakes her cell phone with that of an
unsuspecting sex trade victim during a costume rehearsal of „Swan Lake“.
In full feathery outfit and stage makeup, she chases the younger girl
to retrieve her phone alongside her madly in love skater boyfriend. As
they reach the girl and subsequently her pimp, they realize that the
phone they have contains a compromising video of a politician running
for office. Parallel to their escapade, there is the story of the
boyfriend’s best friend who steals a gun from his policeman dad to
protect himself from a loan-sharking gang for owing them money. Once the
ballerina, her boyfriend and his best friend realize what’s in their
possession, their naïve teen dreams of extortion and quick cash put them
in crossfire between the pimp who made the video, an aging blood-thirsty
police investigator and the loan-sharking gang who realize that they are
onto something once they get a hold of the cell phone.
DIRECTORS STATEMENT
This is a story where I put all of life’s little truths and situations
that I have been subconsciously collected from my own experiences for
years, as well as carefully portraying real people I have met or known
of. It’s a film where seemingly ordinary individuals are thrown into a
position where they have to face extreme situations and how it reveals
unexpected character traits in them; a fairytale-like story with colorful
characters and dialogues set on an urban backdrop. It explores man’s
cruelty as omnipresent, but, no matter how negative many of the
characters are, they still abound in black humor - some form of
humaneness, which is the mainstay of everything the final film is all
about: the pointlessness of evil, the stupidity in aggression, the need
for always just a little more love, the beauty and the madness of youth.
